Transfer policy
Online Transfers:
When ordering a serialized part to be shipped to Boerner Firearms, please ensure it is coming from an FFL. Due to past fraudulent activities, our store policy requires the transferring FFL to email us a copy of their FFL (boernerfirearms@gmail.com) before shipping. Additionally, they must include an invoice, either via email or in the box with the shipment, which must detail the purchase price, the purchaser's information, and the firearm's details (make, model, serial number). The purchase price is required because we must charge state tax. Once these steps are completed, we will respond with a copy of our FFL.
When the customer arrives to pick up their item(s), they will be required to complete the standard paperwork required by law and must bring proper identification.
Private Transfers:
• Both parties (Buyer & Seller) must be present.
• The seller must bring the firearm, ensuring it is cleared and does not have any prohibited parts or accessories according to WA laws.
• Both parties must have proper identification (see specifications below).
• The buyer of the firearm is required to complete the standard paperwork required by WA law.
• The buyer must pay a transfer fee and an $18 background check fee.
• The buyer must then wait a mandatory 10 business days and will receive the firearm only if the background check is approved.

We will call the receiving customer AFTER the firearm has been logged into our system and it is ready to start the process!
PLEASE be patient with us for WE CAN NOT give you an exact timeline of when we will call you, it SHOULD take 1-2 days, however it could be MORE or could be LESS.
WE understand your excitement to see your new gun, however we are a small family owned business so please be patient with us.
We reserve the RIGHT to DENY service to anyone for any reason.
We reserve the RIGHT to send your gun BACK.

If your current address does not match your ID/DL please bring a copy of a WA document with them on there. Example: Vehicle registration, W2, DOL temporary ID/DL, Screenshot of info updated on the DOL website, all showing the updated address.

Additional $20 on other firearms that are ON the SAME Form.
Transfer Fee for Military & Law Enforcement:
$25 For Transfer
